How do I create a Hugo team?

You can create a new team if your company uses Google or Microsoft Office 365 to manage your email and calendar.

Create a Hugo account using those credentials by visiting Hugo.team. If someone from an existing team invites you to join, you can accept by clicking the link in your email invite and signing in with your work credentials. 

What happens to my data when I switch Organizations?

Hugo does not support multiple accounts/Organizations for the same user (distinguished by your email address)

Therefore, if you have an existing Hugo account and are invited to join a new Organization with the same email address, Hugo does provide the ability for you to switch. However, the data from your old Organization (agendas, notes and associated meeting data) will not be transferred to the new Organization. The old data will be lost.

What happens when a deleted user needs to re-join my Organization?

Hugo does not support merging two User accounts as a result of re-joining an Organization. 

If a user is deleted and is invited back to the Hugo Organization, there will be two distinct accounts with the same name and the same email address (but different ID's behind the scenes).

Why can't I create a new Organization on the same email domain?

Hugo Organizations revolve around your email domain and is restricted to one Organization per domain.

If you try to create a Hugo Organization, and someone else at your company has already created one, you will either join the existing Organization or be directed to request an invite from the administrator.

How do I access data from a deleted user?

Data contributed by all Users is still retained in your Hugo Organization after they are deleted.

To access data from a specific User:

  • Visit Browse > Users.
  • Select the User to view all the notes
  • Use the filter to see notes that mention or are saved by that User

Why are the teams calendars visible in My Calendar list?

Only meetings where you are an attendee will show up in your My Meetings list. 

However, if you are a G-Suite admin, you may have access to other calendars within your organization. When Hugo syncs with your calendar, this may be visible in your Calendars list.
