Hugo isn't displaying properly

This article will describe a number of common fixes for display issues you may be experiencing.

Common fixes  

Clear your cache

  1. In the top right corner of the browser you will see three dots, which indicates a settings menu.
  2. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
  3. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  4. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
  5. Click Clear data.
  6. Try signing into Hugo again.

Disable other Extensions

Some 3rd party Chrome Extensions can interfere with the Hugo app. Extensions like Grammarly, PersistIQ and Outreach have impacted display settings. 

Please try disabling the extensions to check if this resolves the issue. Steps: 

  1. Click the three dots at the top right of your Chrome browser
  2. Go to More Tools -> Extensions
  3. Toggle off all extensions 
  4. Restart Chrome
  5. Try signing into Hugo again.  

Alternatively, you can open Hugo in incognito mode.
